We’re more than a flower shop!

The Seacoast of New Hampshire is where our heart lives. So, it’s only fitting that 11 years ago we planted our roots here. Shop owner and creator, Angela opened Drinkwater Flowers as a studio shop back in 2002. It has since blossomed and grew into a full-blown retail shop in 2010. Drawing inspiration from her days of growing up on a farm on Drinkwater Road only a few miles from the beach, Angela has created what she likes to call an “urban farmhouse meets retro beach vibe” for her store. We welcome you to pop by and explore our sweet little shop located on Route 1 in Hampton.

At Drinkwater Flowers we pride ourselves on what we like to refer as, “thoughtful floral artistry”. Carefully selecting flowers and creating unique arrangements that are thoughtful works of art! Tell us your favorite colors, or your favorite flowers and voila! We’ll create an arrangement that’s just for you (or the recipient).

We feel that milestone events and celebrations require extra thought and consideration. That’s why we have a dedicated space for wedding and memorial consultations so we can offer the time and attention you deserve.

Like we said, we’re a full-service florist ~ but we’re so much more than that too! We like to think of ourselves as a “one stop shop”! As soon as you walk in, you’ll discover a wide range of unique house plants, and affordable gifts that we hand select ourselves, as well as an excellent selection of boutique wines!  We carry wonderful gift items from local artisans as well as from woman owned businesses and companies who focus their proceeds on a charity or offer products that are from sustainable or up-cycled resources. Not sure how to pull your gift idea together? No problem! One of our secret talents is to customize your purchase so that it looks and feels like a one-of-a-kind gift.

What makes Drinkwater Flowers different?

Everyone and every place has its own, unique story. It’s what makes you you! The origination of Drinkwater Flowers, and the meaning behind its name begins with the shop owner, Angela.

After moving here from Indiana as a young child, Angela grew up on Drinkwater Road in Hampton Falls on a horse farm playing alongside the flowers and living amongst natures beauty.

Looking back, whenever life got hard, or threw a curveball, it was flowers that brought Angela peace, strength and happiness. That reigns true still today. Except now she gets to share that gift with you!

The power of flowers is what gives Angela purpose. And as a team, our mission at Drinkwater Flowers is to create unique arrangements that spread peace, happiness and joy throughout the seacoast and keep YOU connected to the ones you care about.

At Drinkwater Flowers we pride ourselves on creating #thoughtfulfloralartistry. What exactly does that mean? It means there's careful thought behind every flower we choose. Each arrangement is rooted in nature and meant to provide you with earths energy. We have a team of amazing designers with innovative ideas, who have the ability to hear our customer's needs and also design beautiful arrangements - not only appropriate for the occasion but also customize them to be unique and thoughtful....a piece of art and signature. Our goal is always to deliver beautiful, artistically created, thoughtful floral arrangements and making your special someone's day magical!

We make weekly trips into the Wholesale Fresh Flower Market and hand select blooms from floral farms around the world. Angela finds personal joy in her weekly trips to the market where she finds herself in the company of her "tribe” of business owners, suppliers, wholesalers, growers, floral designers, and landscapers. Blooms from all over the world greet and tempt us each week but it is those special blossoms, and it is those special bunches that sing out “bring me back to the shop" that are truly irresistible and just HAVE TO BE shared with our customers. And as Angela often says, "it sometimes takes just that one special flower to bring a smile”.

As if owning and operating a floral business and retail shop wasn’t enough, Angela is also a graduate of Winnacunnet High School & University of New Hampshire. She then went on to attend other colleges to focus her studies in on visual arts such as Photography, Interior Design & Floral Design and completed her certification as a Floral Essence Practitioner. Angela is a lifelong learner who has an insatiable thirst for knowledge and creativity, so she enrolled in master design classes with some of the world’s best designers enhancing her skillset so that she can continue to provide fresh, creative and updated designs to her clients. She also dabbles in wine school in her "spare time" at WSET and is Certified level II. Her wheels are always spinning ~ so come back often to see what she’s up to next!
