Flower & Plant Care

You have received a beautiful hand tied bouquet - Here are the best steps to care for your blooms:

  1. Fill a vessel with room temperature to cool water

  2. Remove all packaging, water tubes, and foam travel packaging. Much of this packaging can be reused such as water tubes or recycled.

  3. Remove foliage that will be beneath the water line as well as the vase lip

  4. cut flower stem at an angle and place into water

  5. After you finish your vased arrangement keep away from freezing cold temperatures below 38 degrees or extreme warm temperatures such as in a car for long periods or in a very warm room. This will affect the life expectancy of your flowers.  Also keep away from direct sunlight or a television or other heat emitting electrical device.

  6. Add water daily - cut flowers are thirsty !

  7. Change the water in your vessel every 2-3 days depending on the climate. Recut stems if possible. If the water is foggy it is starting to form blossom killing bacteria in the water and it is recommended to keep fresh water to keep flowers happy and give them a longer vase life.
